Week 31: G6 #biz + #life

Week 31 is grind time. We are wrapping up and ramping up (always on the up and up! HA!). We have businesses in the thick of their brick-and-mortar build-outs, we are wrapping up with another business and parting ways, and onboarding new clients. Oh, and it's the end of the 1st month of Q3, so we are wrapping up July. We also can't forget our Founding Father's Birthday is July 31st. We love you, David!

I got zero photos of David's birthday dinner, but we had a wonderful dinner at La Mar in Bellevue. You cannot go wrong there. It's one of David's favorite restaurants, and we continue to enjoy pisco sours and lomo saltado every time we go. We had 3 out of 4 kids with us (miss you, Belle) with their partners, and Grandpa Eddie.

We ended the week making treat baskets for our clients. We usually have a mixer and invite our clients and customers over to enjoy a bevvie and light snacks. But, due to the timing of us onboarding a new Operations Coordinator and a Client Success Manager, it felt like a better idea to keep it simple. Give us time for our team to acclimate to their new roles but still be able to show our appreciation. Treat baskets were the move.

We decided on making a furikake Chex Mix, homemade BBQ sauce, and salted dark chocolate shortbread. Ella came over, and we spent our Sunday afternoon prepping all the things.
