Week 34: G6 #biz + #life

This week started with a visit to my husband, he is working in Laurelhurst which makes it convenient for me to visit him.  He is doing a major remodel and we got to drop by and take some progress photos.

He loves/hates when I visit because he puts some pretty cool features in a home like heated floors, custom mudroom cabinetry and pocket doors leading to a spacious pantry! I get new ideas to re-do something in our home…

We celebrated (finally) our anniversary in July with a surprise getaway to Vancouver, Canada.  We stayed at The Sutton Place (highly recommended).  It was downtown and close to the waterfront and some great shopping + foods.

We wandered down to the waterfront after brunch at The Hard Bean Co.  We drank more and ate more.  We dedicated the day to hanging out.  A rare thing for us, for sure.

We explored the Richmond Night Market.  You definitely can do this once and be satisfied - great experience but highly recommend not splurging on the “fast pass” just pay the $7 because you’ll spend over $100 trying to eat your way through the market.

A relaxing mini getaway as we head right back into work feeling refreshed.  Thankful for this life together.

See you for Week 35 - the episode where my son moves out into his new college house going into his Junior year of college.
