Week 35: G6 #biz + #life

The week kicked off with a road trip for our G6 Retail Renovation Retreat.  We do this twice a year to regroup and align our business path.  We arrived on Sunday and settled in and hung out.  I remained focused on work through the tiny box in my hand.

We stayed in Beaverton outside of downtown Portland (also a great excuse to see my son).  I wanted to lead with a riveting story of how we did a lot of exploring but we did not.  We were pretty hunkered down and focused on Monday and Tuesday we headed out.

We discussed Challenges and Benefits to our jobs and how it relates to the work we do.  We talked through how we can best improve and revisit goals for each of our departments.  We’ve added a few members of our team.  Our team is mostly part time, they have other jobs making this a side gig.  Our part time worker-bees are dedicated to the work they do to provide a service to our clients.  The mission to serve small business founders and enhance their work by supporting their operations is a common goal as team members of G6 Retail Renovation.

This little baby is starting his junior year of college.  He’s living in a house with 5 other roommates and chef’n it up for himself.  His culinary love started early.  Getting to be a part of their adult journey is just as cool as being a part of their childhood - most days…ha!
