Week 24: G6 #biz + #life
We slide into another birthday week. Hannah Banana turns 24. I feel like I was just holding this little baby and now, she has a whole ass life 50 miles away from home. So. Far. I can't walk down the hall and ask for a cuddle. I have to plan it! The worst.
First, a moment for the puppy. He was watching me carefully. Indicating - you better not leave again. Devin, Maleah, and I went out while David was golfing. I love being chauffeured…just kidding, I hate it. I prefer to drive. We were on the hunt for dinner.
It was back on the grind. I went into this week jumping right back into meetings and connecting with my team. We onboarded a new Operations Coordinator this week. It meant a lot to me to ensure we vetted this position. I wanted to make sure this role could continue to expand the operations for g6 retail renovation; evolve the fundamental operations with little lift. I think we found the right fit and am so excited to introduce Nalani to our team. Our Instagram has all the deets on her background, but working with her has been an absolute pleasure thus far!
ALSO, Isabelle and Madi are home this week. OMG. 4 kids home and a new Operations Coordinator - yeah, this week is awesome! We headed to Tacoma to check out Howdy Bagel, pick up our birthday girl, H, and go see our clients who just moved to the Port Orchard area. They are looking forward to exploring the south end to open up a business. We are honored to be a part of their journey. Conjure Catering has delighted Seattle with their dishes. Classic Italian with a down-south influence - their dishes feel elevated and comforting. They welcomed a new baby into the world, moved, and are still inspired to do events. I love their ambition!
We ended the night at La Mar in Bellevue to celebrate this special human. She is a bright light in our lives. I love being able to work with her. Her talents shine, and her love for all things g6 is obvious in every post. I'm thankful to have her as part of our team. I miss her every day, but don't worry, we talk every day. Glad she still calls me on her way home. Happiest Birthday, H.
