Week 21: G6 #biz + #life

I arrived a day earlier than David. David also left a day earlier. Sucks to suck. That was not the move, and he knew I was right, but he was in the middle of projects. So, I guess work calls. We went with our friends, Amalia and Marc. It was, dare I say, a couple's trip? We had a blast.

Boys golfed. We pool'd, sun'd, spa'd, and shop'd. It was exactly how I like my vacations. Sunny. Day 1 was a solid 6 hours at the pool. Just the way I like it. I read, I worked, I chatted, I drank, I snacked, and I snoozed. We ate at some of our favorite spots.

  • Tac/Quila

  • Tropicale

  • Colony Club

  • Farm

We went to Joshua Tree; it's a must. It's the first time we went as late as we did - we got a little turned around, and without service, that posed to be a challenge. But we drove and made it out. There is nothing like the glowing cacti and the vast beauty of this park. It is one of my favorite places to visit in Palm Springs and definitely worth the trek.

Okay, I'll share my next favorite spot in Palm Springs that I feel is one of the best deals. Better than a hotel day pass. The Azure Spa. $60 day pass, and it has outdoor hot springs, all (incredible) spa services, a large pool, dry sauna, wet sauna, and hot tubs indoor and outdoor. It's a huge property so you're able to spread out and really enjoy the tranquility. It is my MUST when I'm in Palm Springs, and I never regret my time there.

Don't tell too many people…I feel like it's a hidden gem. It's never overly crowded, and it's the most chill place you can hang in Palm Springs before whoopin' it up downtown, Palm Springs.
