Week 8: G6 #biz + #life
This week was interesting. Business always fluctuates, and I think that what I do know is that it's unpredictable. I think David and I have run on adaptability since the beginning of our marriage with 4 kids. We understand that things change, and we gotta roll with it. I will say, he is better at it than I. I can definitely wiggle through chaos better, but he is very good about woozah-ing the tough shit and pushing forward. I dwell…a little. Okay, maybe a lot.
For lack of over-sharing, our lineup of businesses is evolving. Around this time last year, I’m reminded, it did the same thing. It teaches me that business changes. A door closes, another opens, ya-da ya-da. I have to keep pushing. That is the difference. I can implement someone else’s vision all day; implementing my own should be easy. Ah, not really, it requires me to think. It requires me to dig in and evolve the business with its natural course of direction, vs. forcing it to do what I want.
So, I sit with my dog and my thoughts. And, we figure this shit out.
